LADY PULLING EXPRESS WAGON. Of French manufacture, possibly by R. F., this slightly larger version is of a finely enameled lady pulling her “goods’ wagon. A string is wound around the pulley and when pulled, this causes the flywheel to spin and the toy to move forward. The lady, when moving forward, has a series of four legs to give a simulated walking motion. SIZE: 6-1/2” l. CONDITION: Slight oxidation to finish, but otherwise very fine plus. JL 1-4409 (350-450) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Spring 2005 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. The prices noted here after the auction are considered unofficial and do not become official until after the 46th day. |
