*FINE RIGBY MAUSER-ACTION CUSTOM BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 270 Win. SN 6387. Beautiful bolt action hunting & sporting rifle with 24″ sporter weight, tapered, rnd bbl, engraved on the top “J. Rigby & Co. London, England”. Left side of receiver ring is engraved “CALIBRE/.270 WINCHESTER” right side is engraved “Made in/England”. Receiver is mounted with bases & rings containing a Zeiss Diatal-Z 6X42 Scope with three heavy posts & crosshair reticle. Bolt knob has two panel checkering. Mounted in very nicely figured, 1-pc English walnut stock with fine checkered forearm and capped pistol grip with Monte Carlo comb & cheek piece with solid red rubber pad. It has sling swivel studs in buttstock & forestock. The reinforcing crossbolt is nicely engraved on each end, and it has a thumb safety on the right side. CONDITION: As new, has been fired, but very little. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Mechanics are fine.
