CASH REGISTER. Interesting lightweight cash register with predominantly wood construction with thin metal face. Unusual key arrangement, not unlike a rotary telephone where the operator would slide one of four columns of numbered keys down until the correct increment is reached. Complete with brass marquee and is affixed with a plaque behind the door handle stating “Patented February 4, 1890”. SIZE: Overall 19-1/2″ h x 16-3/4″ w x 16″ d. CONDITION: Generally very good and working with various chips to wood and uniform wear to metal components; one replaced knob and missing glass window. 1-9235 (700-900)
