LARGE HUBLEY BANDWAGON. A breathtaking toy with marvelous provenance. This piece was on display at the Hubley offices in New York City. After the closure of the Hubley factory, the owner had it on display in his house in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Drawn by four white horses with plumes, the driver parades down the street with eight musicians seated behind him. A classic toy manufactured by Hubley, this piece can stand alone on one’s mantle! SIZE: 30”. CONDITION: Slight fading to paint on one side, otherwise excellent. Figures show fair amount of chipping/paint loss. JL 1-4536 (15,000-20,000)
