OUTSTANDING SALESMAN SAMPLE ROAD GRADER. Of brass and wood construction, this unusual and highly elaborate piece of road construction equipment is a feat of engineering and will appeal to collectors. The rectangular framework rests on a series of brass spoke wheels and has a series of levers and rack & pinion gears to adjust the pitch, height and direction of the machine. Separate levers adjust the blade and soil agitators. Affixed with yoke to attach to a rugged team of horses. SIZE: 28″ l x 10″ w. CONDITION: Generally very good.
