JAPANESE KOTO WAKIZASHI MOUNTED TO LOOK LIKE A KATANA. 20 7/8” shinogi zukuri balade with Mino school, hamon. Niju habaki of shakudo and copper. Nakago ubu mumei having two mekugi ana, (holes). SIZE: 38 ¼” long overall. MOUNTS: Menuki soft metal with gilt work, fuchi kashira iron in cloud motif. Tsuba early iron plate with irregular surface having gilded metal inlay. CONDITION: Blade very clean with slight rubs and minor scuffs and minor rust specks. Saya red and black textured lacquered with minor nicks and brass patinated kojiri of the kuwa-gata style. 4-53741-9 GA09 (700-900)
