*CUSTOM ROY BADEUX BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 505 Gibbs. SN L0141. Fine dangerous game bolt action rifle built on a dbl square bridge Mauser style custom action with 24” tapered rnd bbl, sleeve ramp front sight with 3-leaf custom express rear sight, 100-300 yards. Bbl has a safari sling with no corresponding sling stud in stock. Mounted in straight grain slab sawed American walnut with ebony forend tip, uncheckered, with classic style cheekpiece & straight comb, 13-3/4” over a Decelerator pad. Floorplate is raised to accommodate the large cartridges. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Overall retains virtually all of its orig custom finish to both metal & wood. Bbl & receiver blue are satin finished while the bolt body is polished bright with bright blue on handle & shroud, floorplate & triggerguard. Bolt handle & triggerguard are plum colored.
