*WINCHESTER MODEL 54 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

*WINCHESTER MODEL 54 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 Hornet. SN 41701A. Standard grade rifle with 24” tapered rnd bbl, ramp mounted front sight, missing the hood, with a replacement sheet metal rear sight. Bbl has two plugged holes just in front of rear sight boss and receiver ring is factory drilled & tapped for scope bases along with receiver sight holes at left rear. Rear bridge is not drilled. Mounted in nicely figured, checkered American walnut 1-pc stock with checkered steel buttplate. It has a 1-pc triggerguard & floorplate and is mounted with sling swivels containing a commercial, military style sling. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & receiver retain most of their orig factory finish with some light muzzle wear. Bolt has been amateur-jeweled. Wood is sound with light nicks & scratches and retains most of its orig varnish. Floorplate & triggerguard retain about 60% orig blue with floorplate having flaked to a light patina. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore.
