WWII JAPANESE SHOWATO. 26 ½” shinogi zukuri blade, wavy oil tempered. SIZE: 38 ½ ” long overall. MOUNTS: Buke-zukri with assembled older fittings. Fuchi kashira mismatched, menuki are feathers. Black lacquered saya has gold lacquered feathers as well. Pierced iron tsuba. CONDITION: Tsuka ito rewrapped. 2 ½” narrow piece out at top of saya, otherwise overall good condition. 4-53741-6 GA06 (600-900).
