ANTIQUE INDIAN FIGURAL CATLINITE PIPE. This fine 19th Century sculpturesque pipe bowl consists of an egg shaped Catlinite bowl clutched by what appears to be eagle talons. This rare old pipe fitted with a stem. SIZE: From front of bowl to beginning of stem approx. 2-3/4″. From the top of the bowl to the bottom of the bowl is approx. 2″. Overall length including stem is approx. 7-1/2″. CONDITION: A couple of very old, very small chips on the inside of the pipe bowl and some minor scuffs or scratches on the exterior, otherwise generally very good to excellent.
