*ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 721 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 270. SN 218409. Completely customized rifle with 24” tapered rnd bbl, ramp front sight, the rear sight seat has been filled and it has a Lyman receiver sight with hunting knobs. Mounted in very highly figured Claro walnut with fleur-de-lis carved & checkered forestock & wrist with ivory forend tip and buck deer-head carved grip cap. Right side of stock has a fine Germanic or Japanese style carving of a leaping whitetail buck. Receiver, bolt handle & 10” up bbl are nicely engraved in heavy Germanic or Japanese style consisting of foliate arabesque patterns. Floorplate & triggerguard are matching engraved with the large oval vignette of a silver running whitetail buck. Stock has a collapsed waffle pad. CONDITION: Very fine. Both metal & wood retain most of their fine custom finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. 8-87481 JR44 (750-1,250)
