14″ J.K. KNOCKMEISTER BOY DOLL IN WOODEN CRATE. Deteriorating rubber headed Victorian doll with wood body. Painted features, wearing black suit with plaid vest. Reposing in old wooden crate covered with lithographed paper with leather hinges. Top of box has remnants of applied paper “J.K. Knockmeister” block letters. CONDITION: Head is split and cracking, clothes are moth-worn, limbs show much crazing to original paint. Still a captivating doll. 1-1281 (100-200)
