COLLECTION OF RUBY OVERLAY VICTORIAN GLASSWARE. Second half 19th century. Comprising a cut-to-clear lemonade pitcher and six goblets, all rose decorated; eight cut-to-clear stems, all floral-decorated; eight ruby stems; a ruby vase decorated with a garland of white painted flowers; a similarly painted shaped ruby cup overlaid with a floral cartouche centering “Forget-Me-Not”, with an associated lid; and a later flash goblet. SIZE: Pitcher 8-1/4″ h., goblet, 3-3/4″ h., wine 5-1/2″ h., ruby stem 6-1/4″ h., floral vase 8-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine southern Maine collection.
