*CUSTOM ENGRAVED RUGER NO. 1 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 22-250. SN 131-48566. Beautiful custom Ruger Model 1 with 24″ medium weight tapered rnd bbl with factory scope blocks and two holes for target scope block about 8″ from receiver. Mounted with custom flame grain, light colored, maple or walnut, uncheckered stock & forearm. Forearm is rnd with a black ebony tip and buttstock has a fine classic cheekpiece with Niedner-style, checkered steel buttplate & grip cap. Receiver is beautifully engraved. Previous owner commissioned Pedini to do the engraving, and previous owner’s name was also engraved into the barrel. Left side of receiver has a wonderfully detailed Canadian lynx standing on an old log and right side has a pair of beautifully detailed foxes, all done in banknote Bulino-style engraving. Top edges of receiver & lever have very fine, well executed, foliate arabesque patterns and both pieces are finished in the white. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains most of its orig factory blue with a minor mar or two. Wood is sound with minor storage & handling marks and retains most of its custom finish. Receiver & lever are bright.
