*EARLY PARKER TROJAN GRADE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 169757. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ bbls tapered, matted concave rib with single brass sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers, MOD/IMP-MOD, double triggers and extractors. Top rib is marked “Parker Brothers.Makers.Meridan.Conn.Trojan Steel”. Standard receiver with Parker Bros engraved on each side. Mounted with dark straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, serrated hard rubber buttplate, diamond checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left – .623, right – .622. Bore restrictions: left – .028, right – .018. Wall thickness: left – .028, right – .030. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 0 oz. LOP 14″. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbls retain 80-85% blue/brown finish, thinning carry wear in the forend area and some minor nicks and scratches and a few dark spots of oxidation. Receiver has traces of case color but is mostly a blend of silver and brown patina. Stock is sound with moderately worn checkering, a few nicks and dings and a hand rubbed oil finish. Left side toe of buttplate has a few small chips missing. Forend is sound with moderately worn checkering and a worn hand rubbed finish. Gun is tight with automatic safety, crisp mechanics and shiny bores with a few scattered minor pits. 4-35806 BDT165 (1,750-2,250)
