*RARE SAUER DRILLING. Cal. 16 ga. and 30/40 Krag. SN 261947. 25” bbls. Standard Sauer markings on both locks and bbls. With “WESTERN .30/40 U. S. KRAG.” on top of rib. Two side locks are for the shotgun bbls and have cocking indicators. Left lock is disconnected for firing the rifle bbl by a button inside triggerguard. Rifle bbl cocking rod is on right side and swivels under front of triggerguard. When rifle bbl is cocked the rear bbl sight pops up. Tang sight must be raised manually. Red recoil pad giving a pull of 14-1/4” has been added. CONDITION: Very good to fine with 75% thinning blue on bbls and mostly gray casehardening on action. Triggerguard has only traces of finish. Wood has minor dents and scratches. Bores are good. Mechanically fine. 8-87507 FS253 (1,000-1,500)
