Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 30″ Chopper lump barrels with high flat matted ventilated ribs fitted with ivory mid and front beads, are inlaid in gold with “Lazaro Arrizabalaga” and “Especial para W. J. Holliday” in full caps on tops. Rear portion of ribs have nos. “1” and “2” inlaid in gold for each bbl respectively. Bbl flats show Spanish nitro proofs for 2-3/4″ chambers. Bottoms of bbls are stamped with choke information and “Acero Cromo Niquel”. Bottom of rear lumps are stamped with “1” and “2” on each bbl set respectively. Bbls are fitted with H & H style self-opening assist spring. Full sidelock action features non-automatic safety (“Safe” inlaid in gold), hidden third fastener, bushed strikers, gold line tumbler end cocking indicators, H & H type detachable locks, and Miller single selective trigger. Action has nearly full coverage of H & H inspired shaded open flowing scroll acanthus. All lettering is gold inlay; bottom of action with “Lazaro Arrizabalaga Patente 150989”; each lockplate has “Lazaro Arrizabalaga”. Single beaded trigger guard has scroll and inlaid gold crown on bow, and SN on tang. Nicely marbled and stump figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-13/16″ over brown leather covered pad, and features drop points, and nicely executed 24 LPI point pattern checkering with mullered borders. Matching splinter forend has Anson release. Ejector parts and other internals are gold-plated. Barrel set no. 1: Bore diameter: left -.724, right -.724. Bore restrictions: left -.010, right -.005. Wall thickness: left -.033, right -.028. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Weight: 6 lbs. 6 oz, LOP 14-13/16″. Barrel set no. 2: Bore diameter: left -.728, right -.728. Trigger guard is silvering on bead, and top lever at thumbpiece. Stocks retain most all of their original hand rubbed oil finish with a few marks from handling and use, is a bit dry, and there are a few very small chips at rear of lockplate.
