FOUR PIECE SILVER OVERLAY PORCELAIN TEA SET BY SHREVE, CRUMP AND LOW CO. The cobalt blue porcelain set has lavish sterling overlay of flowers and stems in an Art Nouveau type look. The piece is marked on the bottom “999” over “1000 Fine Silver”. Set consists of a 6” teapot with lid, 4” handled creamer (glaze rubbing on rim), 3-3/4” h covered sugar and 2-3/4” open sugar (small inner rim chip). PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. CONDITION: Very good except where noted. 9-28792 (300-500)
