EMPTY LEATHER TRUNK CASE FOR PAIR OF DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUNS. Heavy English red felt-lined case, 32” long x 11-1/4” wide, compartmented in bottom for a pair of double barrel shotguns with 29” bbls. It has other compartments for snap caps & other miscellaneous tools which are not present. It also has a covered compartment in one end and has a William Powell & Son label in lid, along with loading information for shotguns, #12609 & #12610. Lid is embossed “G.E. de TRAFFORD”. CONDITION: Good. Dark & travel stained showing moderate to heavy wear with some loose stitching on one end. Brass reinforcing corners & straps are intact. Handle is a later replacement. Interior is lightly faded with moderate wear. Labels are dark & stained but legible. A good honest case for a fine pair of English shotguns. 4-60289 JR70 (500-1,000)
