RARE EARLY CARDBOARD LITHOGRAPH ADVERTISING FOR DUPONT POWDERS. Large cardboard lithography depicting various vignettes of hunting scenes, including turkeys, deer, and buffalo. In the foreground, a dead bear and stag with stacks of rifles and shotguns and various tins and kegs of Dupont powder. Below, titled “E. I. DUPONT DE NEMOURS & CO., WILMINGTON, DEL. / WAPWALLOPEN MILLS, built 1859. Luzerne County, Pen. GREAT FALLS MILLS, built 1869.” Lithographer noted below image “THE MAJOR & KNAPP ENG. MFG. & LITH. CO. 56 PARK PLACE, N.Y.”. Ad is frame in an old, dark wood frame. SIZE: 30-1/2” wide x 24-1/2” high, including frame.
