WWII JAPANESE ARMY OFFICER SWORD. 26 1/8” shinogi zukuri grooved blade with wide ko-gunome midare hamon. Hada is muji. Nakago with lengthy signature that is unclear, dated “A DAY IN FEBRUARY 1936” and has two mekugi ana. SIZE: 39” long overall. MOUNTS: Shinguto silver mon on the kabuto-gane. CONDITION: Nice polish with minor stains, tassel, tsuka ito and sarute (tassel loop) are missing. Mounts with just normal wear from use. 4-53741-5 GA05 (700-900).
