STEUBEN AURENE ON CALCITE COMPOTE. Very pretty Steuben compote has inverted saucer foot with slightly twisted vertically ribbed stem and lightly ribbed bowl. Two sides of the bowl are pushed in giving it an oval shape. Bowl is finished on the interior with bright gold aurene showing strong pink highlights. Unsigned. Carries an original sticker on underside from Blake’s Antiques Corning NY. SIZE: 6″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-60244 (300-500)
