*WONDERFUL PARKER BROS. CHE GRADE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 118334. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ Titanic Steel bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib with sgl silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, choked FULL / FULL with dbl triggers & ejectors. Top rib engraved “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CONN. TITANIC STEEL.”. C grade receiver engraved with fine foliate arabesque scroll with a ribbon & “Parker Bros.” Oval with pointer on left side & pointing setter on right. Vignette on floor plate is a running elk surrounded by fine foliate arabesque scroll. Mounted with “streaky” walnut stock with checkered straight grip & vented White Line pad. Fully checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.729, right -.729. Bore restrictions: left -.035, right -.035. Wall thickness: left -.040, right -.041. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 8 lbs. 4 oz. LOP 13-7/8″. Parker Gun Identification and Serialization identifies this SN as a grade T-14 12 ga. with 30″ bbls & ejectors. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 80-85% orig blue with muzzle wear, thinning in carry area around center of forend & small amount of wear in chamber area. Receiver has 50-55% orig case colors with balance a silver patina across bottom & sharp edges. Trigger guard has traces of orig blue with balance a silver patina. Stock is sound with minor hairline crack behind top tang & usual light nicks & scratches. Stock has light coat of wiped-on finish with good checkering that shows some wear. Forend is fully checkered, is sound & shows just moderate hunting wear. Gun is tight, mechanics are crisp with strong ejectors & shiny bores. 4-35023 BDT31 (5,500-8,500)
