Carved wooden figure depicting a robed Buddha personage with crown, necklace, and bracelets, seated cross-legged on the back of a recumbent dog. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h. CONDITION: With remnants of original painted decoration and gilding, the weathered surfaces with losses to left foot, middle digit of right hand, and tip of left thumb.
