*WEBLEY AND SCOTT MODEL 720 BOXLOCK EJECTOR GAME GUN. SN 720091. Cal. 20 Ga. 3″ Chambers. 26″ Dovetailed barrels with high flat matted rib fitted with brass mid and front beads, are stamped “Made by Webley & Scott Ltd. Birmingham. England.” and “Made for Harrington & Richardson Inc. U. S. A.” on tops. Bbl flats show Birmingham nitro proofs for 20 ga. 3″ chambers. Bottom of right bbl is stamped “1/4” and left bbl “3/4”. Loop is stamped “Made in England”. Case hardened boxlock action features automatic safety (“Safe” engraved), and double triggers. Action is engraved with 50% coverage English scroll with “Webley & Scott” stamped on either side. Blued floorplate and trigger guard have matching scroll, and SN on trigger guard tang. Nicely streaked and very slightly figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 15″ over black “Old English” pad, and features drop points, 18 LPI point pattern checkering with double line border, and gold oval on toe line engraved “J L V”. Matching 11-1/2″ long beavertail forend has Anson release. Bore diameter: left -.614, right -.613. Bore restrictions: left -.020, right -.008. Wall thickness: left -.025, right -.031. Drop at heel: 2-9/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 3 oz, LOP 15″. CONDITION: Excellent, shows very little wear, with only the slightest minor marks in wood. Metal parts are silvering slightly on sharp edges. Breech face does show evidence of firing. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Bbls are on face. Ejectors are in time.
