IDEAL SUBLIME SOPRANO INTERCHANGEABLE CYLINDER MUSIC BOX. Beautifully restored cylinder music box with four 14-1/2″ cylinders and three original tune cards in a nicely carved mahogany case with original finish. Celluloid escutcheons for the key; original key and crank present. Has a Zither attachment that gives a very pleasant change in tone. Nice large celluloid label on inside lid with “Ideal Soprano” with a picture of Orpheus blowing into two horns and “Any number of Cylinders can be obtained for this box”. Sold by Baldwin & Gleason Co. Ld., New York. SIZE: 34″ w x 15-1/2″ d x 11″ t. CONDITION: Music box mechanics have been professionally restored; looks and sounds great. All nickel plating has been polished and shines beautifully. Case is all original; nice and clean, slightly faded on the outside. Celluloid escutcheons are split and nickel lock and crank are original, but nice. All corners are nice and square. 1-11570 (6,000-8,000)
