15-1/2″ REGINA COIN OPERATED MUSIC BOX.

15-1/2″ REGINA COIN OPERATED MUSIC BOX. Serial number 37652. Nice quarter sawn oak case with carved molding around the base and bead molding around the pillow top lid. Original paper in lid marked “Regina” and carries operating instructions. Coin slot on front of case, complete with original crank that winds on the side as well as key for coin box. Double comb mechanism with nice celluloid instruction sheet with lots of patent dates. Comes with 10 discs. SIZE: 22-1/2″ w x 20″ d x 12-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Case has original finish that could use a thorough cleaning or possible refinishing. Three corners of the base has been damaged and have old repair. Rest of the case is solid and square. Coin-op instruction tag is a modern addition. Mechanism is restored, but could use some damper adjustment. Otherwise sounds very nice. 1-11442 (2,200-2,600)
