*RUGGED 3 FRAME PARKER CHE GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 176676. Cal. 12 ga., 32″ Acme steel bbls with tapered matted concave rib, single ivory sighting bead, 3″ chambers, FULL / FULL choke, single selective Infallible trigger & ejectors. Rib of bbl is marked “PARKER BROTHERS.MAKERS.MERIDAN.CONN.ACME STEEL”. The size 3 C grade receiver is engraved with fine floral scroll with shaded background, a ribbon with “PARKER BROS.” and an oval with a pointing pointer on left side & retriever on right side & a stag with mountains and pond in the background on trigger plate. Mounted with dark streaky walnut, side panels with dropper point, wrap around checkered pistol grip, Parker Bros. hard rubber grip cap and solid red recoil pad. The “Parker Gun Identification & Serialization” book identifies as an A4 12 ga, 32″ with ejectors and capped pistol grip. Bore diameter: left -.732, right -.734. Bore restrictions: left -.038, right -.039. Wall thickness: left -.029, right -.035. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/8″. Weight: 9 lbs. 1 oz. LOP 13-7/8″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbbls retain nearly all of their blue with just a few light minor handling rubs. Frame has 60-70% fading orig case colors, strong in protected areas blended with some silver patina. There is a small area of some shallow pitting on left side below engraving of pointer. Trigger guard has 60-70% orig blue, with thinning at sharp edges and through the grip area. Stock is sound with a minor chip on each side of forward upper tang, minor hairline behind top tang, good checkering with a few nicks & scraps & a fine hand rubbed finish. Recoil pad has flattened slightly & has a little scuffing on outside sharp edge. Forend is sound, with gray patina metal parts, a few light nicks & scraps & a fine hand worn patina finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-auto-safety, strong ejectors & bright shiny bores. Gun is extremely tight and has seen very little use. 4-36200 BDT159 (9,000-12,000)
