JAPANESE WWII NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD WITH OLD FAMILY BLADE. 20 ¾” shinogi zukuri wakizashi blade, ubu nakago signed “YAMISHIRO (NO) KAMI JU FUJIWARA NOBUSADA” Suguha midare hamon with itami hada. SIZE: 37 ½” long overall. MOUNTS: Kai-gunto (WWII naval officers), two ashi (hangers) with same (rayskin) covered saya. Niju habaki. CONDITION: Good polish with minor staining and a long wari that is only slightly open. Menuki are missing and the ito has been redone, not a professional job. Koiguchi (scabbard throat) is missing. Mounts have normal wear. 4-54992-9 GA25 (600-800)
