MERMOD FRERES COIN-OP INTERCHANGEABLE 7-1/2″ CYLINDER MUSIC BOX. Nice quarter sawn two tier oak case having cylinder storage in base. Nice large carving on the front and plenty of molding. Interchangeable nickel plated cylinder mechanism with two multiple tune cylinders, zither attachment, tune indicator, original crank and no key present. SIZE: Bottom is 26″ w x 15″ d x 5″ t. Music box is 21″ w x 11-1/2″ d x 7-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Nicely refinished light oak case. Strike plate in lid is missing. Mechanism has been nicely restored. Bed plate has been repainted. All nickel has been cleaned. Mechanism plays well and is ready for your collection. 1-11571 (2,500-3,500)
