*L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE DOUBLE BARREL HAMMER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 139052. Hunter Arms shotgun with 30″ Armor steel bbls choked FULL/FULL with tapered, concave, matted rib, sgl brass bead, crossbolt rib extension & extractor. Mounted with checkered, slab sawed, American walnut with splinter forearm & semi-pistol grip stock, 14-1/4″ over a serrated hard rubber buttplate. Receiver & lockplates are unadorned except for maker’s name on each side. CONDITION: Good. Bbls retain most of a reblued finish. Stock has a hairline back of left lockplate with a thin line of wood fill at back edge of forearm, otherwise wood is sound and retains about all of a refinish with freshened checkering. Receiver & lockplates retain traces of an old reblue. Most of screws are moderately battered. Mechanics are fine, shiny bores with pitting. 4-30163 JR12 (400-700)
