JAPANESE WWII PATTERN OF 1944 MARINE SWORD. (Often called a landing force sword) 26 1/4” shinogo zukuri blade with straight artificial temperline. The nakago is signed but lightly and is unclear, it is dated “JANUARY 1945”. SIZE: 38 ¾” long overall. MOUNTS: Standard pattern of 1944. CONDITION: Blade clean with only minor stains. Mounts complete except for the tassel in overall good used condition. 4-54992-18 GA34 (250-350)
