ARCHITECTURAL CARVED AND PAINTED ORIENTAL SEATED FOO DOG. 19th century. Of typical form, seated erect on a molded plinth with guilloche carving, having glass eyes. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h. x 8-1/2″ w. x 14-1/2″ d. CONDITION: With remnants of original paint, probably in blues, greens, and reds, the paint heavily worn, faded, and chipped. Structurally in very good condition, weathered. Retains original glass eyes. Old repairs to ear tips. 9-93824 (1,200-1,800)
