FINE DECORATED RUSSIAN LACQUERWARE BOX. Top paint decorated with scene of six girls in boat, one standing with oar, another seated with oar. A wreath is in the water and one holds small candle lighting up faces and water. Unsigned. Interior is open with red lacquer. Outside is black. SIZE: 8-1/2” h x 15” x 12”. CONDITION: Fine craquelure, some cracking and chips to lacquer side but generally good. 9-97300 (1,750-2,250)
