JAPANESE BUKE-ZUKURI MOUNTED KOTO SWORD. 25” shinogi zukuri blade is O-suriage with two mekugi ana and is mumei. Suguha hamon with itame hada. SIZE: 38 ½” long overall. MOUNTS: Extra long niju habaki one section gold foil covered and the other shakudo giving the sword about 2” extra length. Iron tsuba inlayed in soft metal with a village and pierced with a flying bird. Kinko fuchi kashira of flowers, menuki are shi-shi lions. CONDITION: Blade in good polish with a few minor nicks. Tan tsuka ito in very nice condition. Black lacquered saya is covered with a leather boot for WWII combat use. 4-54992-19 GA35 (800-1,200)
