TINTYPE & CDV OF CIVIL WAR SOLDIERS. The tintype, a full length view of a standing uniformed enlisted man unarmed. Together with CDV of a Civil War officer inscribed in period ink on the reverse “H. P. French Captain 3rd VT Vols”. The tintype is possibly that of David H. Bracket and was acquired from the attic of his descendents in Berwick, ME. Bracket enlisted as a Private in Company B of the Maine 27th Infantry September 30, 1862 and later attained the rank of Corporal. SIZE: Tintype is 3-1/4″ wide x 4-1/4″ tall. CDV is 2-1/2″ wide x 4″ tall. CONDITION: Various age separations, but generally in good condition. The CDV with a small stain. 4-53630 (150-250)
