JEAN JULES SALMSON (French, 1823-1902) PANDORE. Silvered bronze shows a young woman seated with open gold jewelry box and gilt jewelry on neck, arm and in hair. Mounted on a stepped colored marble/slate base with title. Signed on left side of bronze. A very decorative and nice bronze. A gilt vine is on back of column that she sits on. SIZE: Bronze is 16”; base is 2-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-97403 (2,250-2,750)
