*L.C. SMITH 00 GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 2771. Beautiful field grade double with 28” Armor Steel bbls choked MOD/MOD with tapered, concave, matted rib, sgl bead, crossbolt rib extension, extractor and dbl triggers. Mounted with nicely figured, checkered, American walnut with splinter forearm & semi-pistol grip stock, 13” over a solid red Noshoc pad. Lockplates have maker’s name on each side. Bore diameter: left – .618, right – .618. Bore restrictions: left – .018, right – .013. Wall thickness: left – .025, right – .023. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-5/8”. Weight: 5 lbs. 10.56 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain about 98% strong, orig blue with a minor nick or two. Receiver & lockplates retain most of their orig case colors, brilliant on lockplates and top of receiver and in sheltered areas, slightly faded on bottom and turning silver on bottom front. Triggerguard retains most of its orig blue. Wood is sound with a few light nicks & scratches and some heat or chemical crazing around wrist and overall retains 93-95% orig varnish.
