*RARE WINCHESTER JUNIOR TRAP SHOOTING SET. Cal. 410. SN 162. 1920’s vintage set, which includes a black fiber case, 29-3/4″ long x 8-5/8″ wide x 6-1/4″ high. Compartmented in the lid for the accompanying Model 20 sgl bbl shotgun, hand thrower for miniature clay pigeons and a 2-pc cleaning rod. Bottom is compartmented for six boxes of 2″ shot shells, cleaning oil & solvents and targets, etc. Center section contains a full carton of 100 miniature clay pigeons in the orig very colorful cardboard box showing a group of people in 1920’s costume using the thrower & gun. Also included is one partial box of orig black label shot shells containing eight #8-shot orig cartridges. In addition there is a pad of junior trap shooting score sheets, owner’s pamphlets for Winchester repeating shotguns & another for Winchester repeating rifles along with a pamphlet for Winchester 22 caliber rifles and two pamphlets for Winchester metal preparations. Additionally accompanied by a 2004 WACA calendar, which shows a complete set in full color. CONDITION: Shotgun is near new, possibly unfired. Retains virtually all of its bright orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Stock has a couple of spots a with light gouge on each side. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. Case is very fine with a slightly damaged carrying handle, otherwise retains most of its orig factory finish. 4-57126 JR614 (3,500-6,500)
