BEADED INDIAN QUIVER. Short hide quiver, 19-1/2” long with 10” fringe off the bottom. It has a sinew strung blue & white beaded throat with five flaps from the neck that have red beaded frilled edges. The seam is sinew sewn and has a narrow stripe of sky blue, dark blue and white beads along each side. The bottom 6-1/2” is completely covered with nine, 5/8” wide sinew strung bands of beads in colors red, sky blue, dark blue, yellow, green and white that wrap completely around the quiver. On each side there are two columns of red & blue beads that rise from the beaded bands on the bottom. CONDITION: Not old, probably from the early 20th century. Leather is dry and stiff.
