*KRIEGHOFF MODEL 32 OVER/UNDER TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 4117. Fine presentation Krieghoff owned by Joseph Hiestand, father of Linda Hiestand Dennis, who is the consignor of this shotgun and widow of the late Dave Dennis. This shotgun has 30″ vent rib bbls, dbl bead, ejectors & a stippled Miller sgl selective trigger. It has blued receiver & fittings with presentation on bottom, in script, “JOSEPH HIESTAND / NORTH AMERICAN / DOUBLES CHAMPION / 98X100 / 1962″. It is mounted with very nicely figured streaky straight grain French walnut with skip-line checkered wrap-around forearm & Monte Carlo pistol grip stock, 14-1/16″ over a white line waffle pad. Accompanied by 27″ x 19″ poster for the Trapshooting Hall of Fame, American Trap Association for The Grand American World Trap Shooting Championships at Vandalia, Ohio. There are five individual photographs on bottom, the center of which is Joe Hiestand & bears his autograph below. Drop at the heel: 2″, drop at the rear of comb: 1-3/8″, drop at the front of comb: 1-3/8”. Bore restrictions: top – .029, bottom – .026. Wall thickness: top – .045-.052, bottom – .040-.046. Bore diameter: top – .703, bottom – .713. Weight: 8 lbs. 4.8 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Near new, retains virtually all of its original factory finish to both metal & wood.
