JAPANESE BUKE ZUKURI MOUNTED SHIN-SHINTO KATANA. 30 ¼” shinogi zukuri blade. Very clean blade with gunome midare hamon and itami hada. O-kissaki (large point). Ubu mumei nakago. SIZE: 43 ½” long overall. MOUNTS: Large iron tsuba with intentional rough surface. Fuchi kashira matching with ishime textured ground. Kinko single menuki. Black lacquered saya with a leather boot for WWII combat use. CONDITION: Blade in very good polish with a few very minor nicks in its edge, also small wari in the shinogi-ji. One menuki and about a third of the tsuka ito missing. Kurikata is damaged. Massive impressive sword with only minor defects. 4-54992-8 GA24 (2,000-3,000)
