RARE BLACK McLOUGHIN BROS. DIORAMA. Late 19th Century, as was typical of the time period the black people were portrayed within the various scenes in a comical nature with exaggerated features. One of the scenes portrays a black gentleman seated in a chair playing a banjo while his friend frolics about. Another scene depicts a dapper black gentleman tipping his hat to a young lady. SIZE: 11” x 11”. CONDITION: Overall condition very good, some soiling and scuffing to outer frame. A couple of scenes on roll have tears and have been taped.
