*ENGRAVED ITHACA GRADE 4E SINGLE BBL TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 278269T. Grade 4 Flues model with blue & case hardened finish, 32” vent rib bbl, ivory middle & front beads. Receiver is very nicely engraved with a trap shooter on stand on left side & Ithaca’s trademark eagle on right side with about 65% coverage foliate & floral pattern engraving. Fleur-de-lis pattern checkered tapered beavertail forearm with black insert & straight stock, 14” LOP over distorted & hardened old Noshoc recoil pad. Drop at comb: 1-3/8”, drop at heel: 1-1/2” There is a blank gold initial shield on bottom. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains about 95% strong orig blue. Receiver retains 50-60% faded case colors. Stock has a slightly shaved comb with an old filled crack on left side panel with light mars & scratches & retains mostly a smooth hand rubbed patina showing moderate to heavy wear.
