*WINCHESTER 52B TARGET RIFLE WITH STANDARD BARREL. SN 63152B. Cal. 22 LR, 28″ bbl, (.715) at muzzle, integral short ramp with slot blank in dovetail, no provision for rear sight, target bases with J. Unetrl 16X scope with AO. Left side of bbl is marked “WINCHESTER/PROOF STEEL-MODEL 52-WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK-.22 LONG R.” Right side “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN, CONN.” Standard “B” receiver with forward right side marked “WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK” rear right side “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARM CO./NEW HAVEN, CONN.-PATENTED”. Rear bridge is equipped with rectangular base marked “WIN.52MS” that is a base for a Marble Goss receiver sight. Mounted in straight grain walnut with fiddle back, target beavertail forend with adjustable hand stop and swivels, straight comb, target pistol grip, inlet base with swivel, checkered steel buttplate, trigger equipped with wide trigger shoe and one 5-shot magazine marked “WINCHESTER -69 PAT.NOV.1919”. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 90-95% orig blue, with minor muzzle wear, some minor scuffing along sides, and a few small spots of minor surface oxidation. Receiver retains most of its orig matt blue. Trigger guard has nearly totally flaked and turned a brown mixed with silver patina. Stock is sound with typical light nicks & dings, and minor handling marks, but retains most of its orig finish. Scope has fine cross-hairs with target dot, appears fine but may need to be cleaned. Mechanics are crisp with a nice shiny bore. 4-40084 BDT26 (1,250-1,750)
