EDDIE RICKENBACKER PLAQUE FROM EASTERN AIRLINES. 11-1/2″ X 9″ brass plaque mounted on a walnut board 13″ X 10-1/2″. It bears the inscription: “AS A MARK OF ESTEEM / THE RETIRED EASTERN PILOTS ASSOCIATION / HAS ELECTED / EDWARD V. RIKENBACKER / AS / HONORARY LIFE MEMBER / DECEMBER 9, 1971”. Mounted at the top of the plaque is a set of gold Eastern Airlines Senior Pilot’s wings and an Eastern Airlines Rosette that is about 1-7/8″ diameter. The edges of the plaque has the logos of eight different airlines. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains about all of its original finish. 4-54862 JR750 (1,000-2,000)
