CARDER STEUBEN BLUE AURENE VASE. Lovely Steuben vase features a vertically ribbed translucent blue aurene foot with a bulbous body and slightly flaring neck in opaque blue aurene. Vase is signed on the underside “F. Carder Aurene 4921”. Similar example is pictured in the book Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass: American Classics by Thomas P. Dimitroff, pg. 179, fig. 8.4. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor wear to iridescence on edge of foot. 5-60202 (400-600)
