ANTIQUE WALTERSHAUSEN DOLLS’ HOUSE FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES. Circa 19th Century. Lot includes large scale six piece Waltershausen (Boulle) parlor set in the black ebony, upholstered in seafoam green trimmed in a braided cord. A pedestal chest table with center drawer with transfer checkerboard on the top, a marble top dresser with mirror having six sides framed in a scalloped border and two doors beneath. Accessories include a large kerosene chandelier with three attached candle holders with Bristol shade and chimney, a newspaper holder with openwork design mounted on an elaborate base painted gold, a metal hanging pendulum clock painted gold with a clock face in Roman numerals with pendulum below behind glass and a domed metal clock painted gold on a platform. SIZE: Tallest is 7-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Fair to good. Sofa shows wear to fabric with some missing areas, right leg has been broken and replaced with poor copy and possible restoration to sides of sofa. Mirror on marble top dresser has been reglued. Chest table has replaced leg. Backs of chairs have been painted black. 1-8805-32 AM (400-600)
