U.S. WWI AIRPLANE INTER-PHONE. 10-1/2” x 6-3/8” x 2-3/4” wood box with brass hinges and fixtures. Brass label on top identifies this as a “TYPE S. C. R. 57” with the order #40899. The schematic inside the lid identifies the pieces and shows where all of the external equipment is to be plugged in. No batteries or other external equipment. CONDITION: Slight crackling to the varnish finish with some areas of scuffing and scratching. Interior is clean. 4-53814 X166 (700-900)
