LOT OF TWO SCHOENHUT DOLLS. a) The smaller doll is 15″, (38 cm), so called “Miss Dolly” with open/closed mouth, four upper teeth, and blue decal eyes. There is an impressed mark on the back of the torso reading “SCHOENHUT DOLL Pat. Jan. 17, 1911, U.S.A.”. She has been appropriately redressed in white and blue depicting a sailor girl. CONDITION: Good, with minor crazing to paint on face. b) 19-1/2″, (49 cm), boy of the same mold, redressed as a golfer. CONDITION: Heavily restored throughout. 1-7496, 1-7499 RS (400-600)
